The role of the Helpline call operator is to provide information tailored to the needs of each enquirer, and to provide emotional support in an empathetic and empowering way.
Our Helpline Operators are all volunteers with experience of cancer either personally or indirectly. After undergoing specialised training, each operator is given the responsibility of looking after the helpline one day a week or as back-up to cover holidays etc.
