Suzanne Walsh is a qualified and experienced counsellor/psychotherapist. She has extensive experience working with people affected by cancer, either themselves or relatives, gained through working in day care hospices and Mount Vernon Cancer Centre. Suzanne can offer you the opportunity to engage in a dialogue, that is different from talking with a loved one or friend, where you are free to talk about your anxieties, exploring options around treatments or end of life care and how loved ones will be affected so that you are able to make sense of what is happening. It is of paramount importance that this relationship offers a safe, non-judgmental and confidential environment so you will feel able to take a proactive role as early as possible. By feeling in control of your situation, it will be easier to make informed decisions and find the way forward that is right for you.
