Our Practitioner Supporters have pledged a regular monthly amount to Yes to Life to support our work. Funding of this nature is extraordinarily valuable to the charity as it is predictable income, in contrast to most other forms of charitable funding.


Dr Tavakkoli has over 15 years’ expertise as a hospital consultant and is also a Functional Medicine doctor. She combines these skills with her knowledge of Integrative Medicine to offer a progressive approach to cancer.

Dr Tavakkoli uses a multi-faceted approach to cancer by addressing the underlying causative factors. Her integrative programme includes:

  • Modulated electro-hyperthermia, or oncothermia;
  • High dose intravenous vitamin C infusions;
  • Subcutaneous mistletoe injections;
  • Exercise with Oxygen Therapy;
  • Advice on metabolic pathway blockers;
  • Functional Medicine laboratory testing and analysis;

Dr Kate James MBBS

Kate is a medical doctor who supported both her mother and daughter with Integrative Medical care after their diagnoses with cancer. Seeing the impact first hand, her passion and belief in integration grew.

She now dedicates her practice to supporting individuals with cancer whilst raising the profile of Integrative Medicine and teaching Integrated care. She works with patients from all over the UK and abroad by telephone, skype or in person.  She specialises in the use of medicinal mushrooms, natural supplements and diet together with other techniques to support patients either alongside or instead of conventional cancer treatment.

Dr Rajendra Sharma MB BCh BAO LRCP&S(Ire) MFHom

Dr Sharma has 30 years of experience as an Integrated Medical Doctor utilising conventional, complementary and more recently Functional medicine. He has established practices off Harley Street, London and covers the South West of England from his practice in Exeter, Devon.  He has a special interest in working with chronic disease and diagnosis of its underlying causes. Dr Sharma is not an oncologist but he maintains an interest in the myriad causes of cancer and the many associations with environment, life-style, exercise, diet and nutrition. He is trained in ecological health screening, investigating metal toxicity (amalgams), mitochondrial function and its association with the metabolic theory of cancer and chronic disease.

Dr Sharma works with all medical conditions including CAM therapy for those with cancer or those wishing to prevent the condition. He is trained in the use of the pioneering Research Genetic Cancer Centre (RGCC) testing and prescribes a broad range of natural options including IV vitamin supplementation (including Vitamin C and Cell Symbiosis/Mitochondrial Therapy, Far Infrared-hyperthermia, botanical (herbal) and nutritional therapies.

He works with natural therapies to help people through surgery with pre- and post-operative protocols and has adjunct natural therapies to support those going through chemotherapy and radiotherapy.

Dr Sharma is the author of The Family Encyclopedia of Health and more recently published the quintessential ‘all you need to know’ healthy ageing book, “Live Longer Live Younger” in which CAM therapy is discussed in relation to cancer. Dr Sharma is a member of The British Society for Ecological Medicine and the Faculty of Homeopathy.

Dr Etienne Callebout MD, DTM&H, MFHom

Based in London, Dr Callebout uses numerous herbs, nutritional supplements, enzymes, and substances uniquely tailored to fight cancer, along with a detoxification regime, an overhaul of the patient’s diet, and psychological healing strategies. He alternates protocols so that the malignancy gets hit from different angles at different times.

He may use aloe vera, MGN-3 sachets, bovine cartilage, dmso, Wobe-Mugos and other enzymes, glandulars, green tea, Iscador, flaxseed oil, Maitake, vaccines, shark cartilage, and other homeopathic and herbal remedies.

Melissa Wakeling

Melissa set up Teddington Homeopathy in 2011 and is a fully-qualified, registered and insured Homeopath. Melissa is passionate about Homeopathy and optimising the body’s natural healing abilities, and provides ongoing support to all of her patients. Melissa is experienced in treating a wide range of chronic conditions and has found Homeopathy to be effective in helping patients to manage the side-effects of conventional cancer treatments.

She specialises in detox therapy and is a certified CEASE Therapist.  Melissa also a practicing Theta Healer and offers emotional support/energy healing.
