Rebecca Brazier is a qualified humanistic counsellor with a First Class Honours Degree in Counselling and a Foundation Degree in Humanistic Counselling. She can work both in the short and long term with adults and young people exploring a variety of issues in a confidential, understanding and non-judgemental way, creating a safe and trusting environment for you to explore your issues whilst respecting your uniqueness. She works non-directively with you incorporating theories and techniques such as person centred therapy, existential philosophy, Gestalt therapy, solution focused therapy, and can work creatively to explore issues. She is a member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (www.bacp.co.uk) and adheres to their Ethical Framework, is insured and holds an enhanced CRB disclosure. Rebecca Brazier is one of a group of individual cancer counsellors and psychotherapists in the UK who have been specially selected by Yes to Life on the basis of their suitability. All of this group are fully qualified and insured and have a minimum of 2 years experience of working with and supporting cancer patients and their relatives. When choosing a therapist, apart from confidence in their experience, it is always important to check that you feel comfortable with them.
