Cancer Black Care (CBC) provides a comprehensive support service to all members of the community who are affected by cancer. They offer a safe confidential, neutral place, where service users, carers and families and friends can meet to support each other’s cultural and emotional needs. They aim to enhance the quality of life by reducing fears, tensions, bitterness and misunderstanding.
CBC’s services also include grant applications, gateway to allied services, home/hospital/hospice visits, telephone/face to face contact, advice on general welfare benefits and community health awareness events.
