Clinical Thermography

Clinical Thermography head office is in Tauranga although this is a traveling clinic covering major cities in New Zealand, including Auckland, Christchurch, Dunedin, Hamilton, Hawke’s Bay, Invercargill, Nelson, New Plymouth, Palmerston North, Queenstown, Taupo, Tauranga, Wellington and Whangarei.

The appointment will take approximately 30-45 minutes with an IACT accredited female technician. After 10 minutes relaxing in a temperature-controlled room, patient will be asked to disrobe from the waist up. The technician will take a series of images including front, lateral and oblique views. Within 7-10 days, a complete report will sent to the patient.

Breast thermography is a breast health monitoring tool that can identify metabolic changes in breast tissue. Heat patterns in the breast relate to blood vessel activity and usually remain remarkably consistent throughout a woman’s life. Any negative changes can indicate deteriorating breast health and provide an opportunity to address underlying factors. MammovisionTM was developed by InfraMedicTM in Germany and is EU-certified as a class 1 medical thermography (CE 0483) device with the ability to accurately measure surface temperatures without contact. Accuracy is unaffected by breast density or age.

Office is open Monday to Thursday 9am to 4pm.

Appointments cost 240 New Zealand Dollars including the initial imaging appointment, the analysis of the scans and a full written report.
