Breast thermography is a breast health monitoring tool that can identify metabolic changes in breast tissue. Heat patterns in the breast relate to blood vessel activity and usually remain remarkably consistent throughout a woman’s life. Any negative changes can indicate deteriorating breast health and provide an opportunity to address underlying factors. MammovisionTM was developed by InfraMedicTM in Germany and is EU-certified as a class 1 medical thermography (CE 0483) device with the ability to accurately measure surface temperatures without contact. Accuracy is unaffected by breast density or age.
Office is open Monday to Thursday 9am to 4pm.
Appointments cost 240 New Zealand Dollars including the initial imaging appointment, the analysis of the scans and a full written report.
