Dilys Stinson

Dilys Stinson is Psychotherapeutic Counsellor in London, Accredited Member UKAHPP, Registered UKCP, Member COSRT and has specialist experience in Cancer Counselling. She is a Founder Member of The Cancer Counselling Trust and Head of Clinical Services. She is also a Founder member of Cancer Counselling London.

Dilys has worked with cancer patients, their families and other health professionals for the last 17 years, initially at Cancerbacup and subsequently with The Cancer Counselling Trust. Dilys has worked with clients at all stages of the disease, including bereavement. This has included both long and shorter-term work, and this timescale is decided with the client.

Dilys Stinson is one of a group of individual cancer counsellors and psychotherapists in the UK who have been specially selected by Yes to Life on the basis of their suitability. All of this group are fully qualified and insured and have a minimum of 2 years experience of working with and supporting cancer patients and their relatives. When choosing a therapist, apart from confidence in their experience, it is always important to check that you feel comfortable with them. For this reason, it is a good idea to have an initial session before making your decision.


Individuals: £60 for a 50-minute session
Couples: £80 for a 1-hour session
