The Holistic Cancer Centre at Wirral Holistic Care Services
Profile:

The Holistic Cancer Centre at Wirral Holistic Care Services is a nurse-Led therapeutic cancer support centre for people who have a cancer diagnosis. They offer a wide array of complementary therapies under one roof, including counselling, nutritional awareness, relaxation therapies such as mindfulness and meditation, aromatherapy, reiki, acupuncture, craft, yoga, tai chi and more.

The centre is a comfortable house and gardens with cosy areas to forget your worries, chat with the team of nurses, therapists and volunteers and also get to know other patients who are going through similar experiences.

The origins of Wirral Holistic Care Services stretch back 20 years when Dorothy Crowther, their chief executive, first proposed the idea that complementary therapies and ongoing care could help cancer patients to not only cope with the diagnosis of their illness, but also offer them a greater input over improving their quality of life.
