Wokingham District Cancer Care Trust

The Wokingham District Cancer Care Trust was established in 1991. The object of the trust is to offer help in the relief of suffering and improvement of life of persons with cancer or other life-threatening illnesses who are resident in the Wokingham District or who receive their primary care in the Wokingham District.

Since their foundation they have become a recognised and well-respected local charity and with the support of the local community have been able to continue to fulfil their aim to support those in need. At present the trust is helping to provide physiotherapy and psychology services in BA/Macmillan House as well as supporting occupational therapy work, and the provision of yoga and aromatherapy to patients in the unit.
