Sound and Voice baths
These sessions are passive sessions, requiring you only to relax and receive the sounds, with an invitation for some self-reflection on occasions before and after the sound and voice baths.
A little more about Sound and Voice Baths
Sound Baths are Sonic Tapestries including the use of Himalayan bowls, crystal bowls, bells, percussion and a gong, each instrument with its own sound signature to facilitate your therapeutic relaxation.
Voice baths will be offered by Ereni using vocal toning, Tibetan overtone chanting and ending in grounding percussion.
During Sound and Voice Baths we recommend that, if possible, you set up a comfortable space to lie down, to have some time set aside without interruptions, and wear headphones or use your best speakers or sound system (at a suitable volume for your comfort).
Ereni will also be offering distance Reiki, during some passive and active workshops.
These are online Sound and Voice therapy drop-in sessions suitable for most people, however some contra-indications do apply, please see the sign-up form below.
If these sessions are not suitable for you please do join the first three weeks of our Thursday Drop-in sessions which are suitable for all.
Each session will last for an hour, there will be a brief introduction to what we will be doing, and to the instruments we will be using as well as some suggested guidelines. This will be followed by a 45-minute sound or voice bath.
Afterwards will be a brief, optional return to camera for a check in or to say goodbye. You are more than welcome just to switch off your Zoom and rest after the session without returning to the camera.
We use Zoom for all online sessions and we recommend that you have the latest version installed.
These drop-in Zoom sessions will not be recorded to allow for confidentiality and a relaxed atmosphere for all participants
Quotes from previous participants:
“Whole body was responding to vibrations, very beautiful.”
“Amazing sounds and techniques used.”
“Wonderful and so healing “
“Last night I was looking forward to the session and again by yesterday after a difficult week and more Cancer treatment I needed something to support me. My favourite sounds were when you ‘played’ the gong. What was interesting was within the first few minutes the left side of my rib cage vibrated with the music. I had a lot of surgery on my left side and have been in a lot of pain, so it was interesting that it was this part of my body that responded!
I am so glad you did not listen to the people who told you it is not possible to do these sessions on line. I totally disagree!
I am a holistic therapist, biodynamic craniosacral therapist and energy healer so I’m familiar with this work but when we are ill it is hard to resource ourselves, especially if we are being pumped full of chemicals. So, thank you for the effort you put into your sessions.”

She retrained to be a group Sound and Voice therapist in 2016 with The British Academy of Sound Therapy, in a bid to help her combat long-standing stress and anxiety, address the possible source of some long-term health issues and to support her work/life balance. She qualified with distinctions in both Sound and Voice Therapy in January of 2017. She has also since qualified as a Level 2 Reiki practitioner in June 2021.
Over the years Ereni has had the opportunity to study with voice-work luminaries such as Angela Caine, Jill Purce, Nikki Slade and Chloe Goodchild before embarking on her professional training. She writes: “I so look forward to seeing you soon on an online drop-in session or immersive weekend – I will also be posting a series of pre-recorded sessions for you to try out. I am really looking forward to going on this journey of discovery with you and I can’t wait to see you there :)”

We are utilising Sound and Voice Therapy techniques in order to help support our own well-being. To this end, I ask that you take full responsibility for your own well-being. I am facilitating these online workshops and although I am here to support you to the best of my ability as a Group Sound and Voice Therapist, I am unable to take responsibility for any aspect of your health care. Please contact your GP/health care practitioner if you have any concerns of this nature.
Please also note, it is recommended not to participate in Sound and Voice work in the first trimester of pregnancy.
If you have already signed up to the Thursday drop-ins you do not need to register again for these sessions as you will automatically be added to the Sound and Voice therapy mailing list for both sessions.
