Finding comfort over the Christmas Festive Season. A partnership with NoWorriesApp.com

7 Nov 2025

y2l post

Sentiment measurement experts at NoWorriesApp.com have teamed up with Yes to Life to deliver a unique ground breaking project. This project, which will support people living with cancer, their caregivers and families, will be part of our campaign “Stockings of Hope”.

a blog from Alex Keeling, NoWorries App.

The aim is simple – the NoWorriesApp is a “present” to “be present” over Christmas and the holiday period with your family and friends.

NoWorriesApp.com is a unique digital self-help tool to help you recognise, manage and ease worry to feel happier. Developed by former Olympians with extensive expertise in behaviour change, the app addresses the fast-emerging and growing universe of human unhappiness caused by worry.

It features a Happiness Tracker to better understand the factors affecting your mood, along with a Worry Log to get you back on track through small, intentional change.

Through our shared values of empowerment, gratitude, and growth, we wanted to offer you this tool to take small intentional steps to improve your wellbeing

In a lively video conference about the NoWorriesApp.com digital platform, Yes to Life CEO Miquel Leon-Canete, was enthusiastic about the new collaboration, I think it’s a perfect partnership, to be honest at this time of the year.

Miquel is a passionate believer in the concept of empowerment and the ability of people living with cancer – and those around the patient too – to be able to take control of all of the decisions they have and need to make. Complete control of their lives and treatment is central to everything that Yes to Life does.

In the conference call was the CEO of NoWorriesApp.com – Olympian and Change Management expert – Caroline Holmyard. Caroline wants the NoWorriesApp to be a gift this Christmas for those affected by cancer that keeps on giving. The NoWorriesApp will be one of a number of exciting presents in the “Stocking of Hope” that will enable users to really enjoy the holidays, experience the joy and make the most of every moment by being properly present with mind and body in the room.

Caroline asked Dr Mandolen Mull – a Chicago based leadership and change consultant – what was he significance of empowerment and why was it important? Dr Mull’s response was that empowerment is not prominent enough in the lives of cancer patients and those around them.  The research [points to ] a sense of helplessness, of individuals feeling like they don’t have any agency or the ability to be empowered to make decisions, and that’s where I get to come in and tell people, actually, don’t relinquish your ability to have a voice, don’t relinquish your ability to make small choices.”

Dr Mull added The NoWorriesApp is here to help you “be present” in that it helps you make some intentional decisions to re-boost your confidence and put you in the driver’s seat.

This is really of great importance to Caroline and Dr Mull as both have experienced life-threatening medical conditions. Caroline has won her battle against cancer and wished that she had been able to access an app or similar when she was ill to boost her own level of empowerment and agency to be in control.

The last words went to Miquel on the video conference It is exactly like that, that’s why the partnership is just so perfect because this is what we advocate, it’s empowerment, people need to be empowered to make their own decisions.”
