Cooking for health

A practical workshop for people with/after cancer or anyone interested in health and wellbeing.

Join us for an inspiring workshop on nutrition and cooking for health. In this hands-on workshop, where we cook and eat together, nutritional therapist, Wendy Smith, will be discussing how different foods and nutrients affect health and will convey some simple techniques to help you optimise your nutrition. A key focus of the workshop will be around reducing inflammation and incorporating colour and variety into your diet. We will be using seasonal produce to create some delicious, nutritious dishes and recipes will be available.

This workshop is suitable for anyone interested in harnessing the power of food to affect health and wellbeing, whatever stage of cooking you are at. This will no doubt be a fun event and a great opportunity to meet like-minded people and share experiences. This workshop will be meat and dairy free.
