Course Details

The course was taught in eight 2 hour sessions and an afternoon of silent practice, and included:

  • guided instruction in mindfulness meditation practices and mindful movement
  • opportunity to explore your experiences through group dialogue
  • learning new ways to manage thoughts and feelings
  • a short breathing practice to use in times of stress
  • home practice of meditations and weekly suggestions for ways of integrating mindfulness into daily life
  • audio CDs with guided meditation for home practice and weekly handouts to support learning
