We’re delighted to announce the 2nd edition of the Yes to Life Awards, celebrating the inspiring individuals and initiatives making a meaningful difference in integrative cancer care.
Following the success of last year’s awards, we’re introducing an exciting new format for 2026, combining the public nominations with a public vote for the finalists.
About the Yes to Life Awards
The Yes to Life Awards were created to honour the extraordinary individuals and organisations who are reshaping what cancer care can look like when it is approached with compassion, innovation, and a truly holistic understanding of wellbeing. At their heart, the awards exist to recognise those who go beyond convention — those who listen deeply, act courageously, and work to support people not only through treatment, but through the whole person and wellbeing.
Since their launch, the awards have become a space for stories that often go unheard in traditional healthcare narratives: stories of integrative practitioners bringing together different forms of support, of community initiatives offering comfort and strength where systems fall short, of researchers and clinicians opening new pathways, and of individuals whose lived experience has inspired change for others. Each nomination is a reminder that meaningful impact is not always loud or visible, but it is always deeply felt.
For the 2026 edition, the awards continue to evolve in a way that reflects the values of openness and community participation. Alongside expert review, this year introduces a public nomination and voting process, ensuring that recognition is shaped not only by a committee, but by the wider community of people who witness and benefit from this work every day. It is an invitation to collectively acknowledge the care, dedication, and quiet persistence that too often go uncelebrated.
But beyond the structure and timelines, the Yes to Life Awards are ultimately about connection. They are about bringing people together who might otherwise never meet, patients, practitioners, researchers, supporters, and advocates — and creating a shared moment to reflect on what is possible when care is guided by humanity as much as by science.
The journey culminates in a special evening at Friends House in London on Friday 25 September 2026, where finalists, supporters, and guests gather to celebrate the stories behind the nominations and to honour the winners of this year’s awards. It is an evening not only of recognition, but of gratitude — for the work already done, and for the ongoing commitment to improving how people are supported through cancer.
The Yes to Life Awards continue to stand as a reminder that change is often built through many small, dedicated acts — and that when those acts are seen, shared, and celebrated, they have the power to inspire even more.
