Charlotte is a pharmacist, nutritionist, health coach and Functional Medicine Practitioner, passionate about promoting the use of food and lifestyle medicine for the prevention, reversal and treatment of chronic disease, and to optimise health and wellbeing.
Following the sudden death of both her father and uncle in her final year of university, Charlotte was determined to help promote the importance of health awareness, and spent much of career based in the community focussing on medicines management in chronic disease. Conscious of the limitations and complications associated with the ‘drug first’ approach for chronic disease, Charlotte embarked on a programme of study to better understand integrative practices. She now specialises in the use of nutritional and lifestyle medicine as the path to health. Charlotte’s work includes nutritional medicine research, health coaching on the NHS Diabetes Prevention Plan, and Functional Medicine support for patients undergoing treatment for cancer, autoimmune disease and cardiovascular disease. Charlotte is currently completing an MSc in Nutritional Medicine.
