MBBS BSc

Dr Hari Kuhan completed his undergraduate medical training at Imperial College, London where he graduated with a BSc in Surgery and Anaesthesia. He performed his foundation and core medical training in Central London, working at hospitals such as St Mary’s, Paddington and St Bartholomew’s. He has gained significant experience working in Medical Oncology at centres of excellence such as St Bartholomew’s, University College London and Royal Marsden Hospitals.

Following a research fellowship at Barts Cancer Institute funded by Stand up to Caner and HCA he gained laboratory experience targeting metabolic pathways in cancer stem cells and circulating tumour cells. Hari went on to develop translational phase 1 trials based on his pre-clinical work. He attained a clinical fellow role working in an early phase trials unit, the Sarah Cannon Research Institute UK, Harley Street where he was lead sub-investigator for a variety of solid tumour trials.

Dr Kuhan continues to play an active role in clinical research and drug development. His strong background in mainstream oncology at centres of excellence coupled with his early phase trials experience, academic research in metabolic targeting, oversight of adjunctive protocols of repurposed medicines in cancer and higher education in the evolving field of next generation sequencing put him in good stead to further the cause of metabolic oncology.

“I think YTL has been, and continues to be an invaluable asset to patients and doctors alike, keen to pursue or at least inform themselves of the ever-evolving field of integrative medicines. Using the wealth of knowledge ascertained via the website links and podcasts with esteemed speakers at the forefront of their respected fields helps empower those willing to think outside the box of conventional norms or scopes of advice. I am grateful for the commitment and dedication the team has put into this service and thankful for the support this charity has provided for the countless patients that have benefited.”
