The Big C is a cancer charity that has Support Centres in Norwich, Great Yarmouth and King’s Lynn, as well as a smaller Support Hub in Gorleston. The centres are for people with cancer and those who care for them, and they offer free help and specialist advice across a range of areas including: nutrition and wellbeing, financial issues, body image and appearance, palliative care and social isolation and loneliness.
They also offer a range of free services, including counselling and complementary therapies with their experienced and qualified therapists (up to six free sessions for a patient and one significant other). Complementary therapies are provided as part of their support services, not as an alternative to conventional treatment.
