Meredy Birdi is a Registered Dietitian and Nutritional Therapist, and Director at The Cancer Dietitian UK, with over 20 years of clinical experience in the nutritional support and personalised care of people affected by cancer. Meredy provides bespoke programmes to support and guide cancer patients to reduce overwhelm and be clear on nutritional priorities.

Meredy gained her expertise working in several university teaching hospitals in the NHS including Addenbrookes Hospital, University College London Hospital, The Royal Marsden Hospital and Guy’s and St Thomas’s NHS Foundation Trust. She has also worked at Leaders in Oncology Care (LOC) on Harley Street London. Meredy collaborates with a number of cancer charities and is Founder of The Cancer Dietitian.

As one of the few UK healthcare professionals with dual qualifications in Dietetics and Nutritional Therapy, Meredy is passionate about promoting the safe integration of conventional medicine and complementary therapies to improve clinical outcomes and quality of life for people with cancer. She provides tailored nutrition coaching and support to bolster patient’s health and wellbeing as they prepare for treatment, and progress through treatment, recovery, survivorship, and supportive care.
