Bury Cancer Support Centre offers support, information and complementary therapies in an informal atmosphere. Therapies include relaxation, massage, aromatherapy, Bowen Technique, healing, reiki, and counselling. Anyone touched by cancer, whether patient, carer, relative or friend, can attend. They are open to anyone in the North West – indeed anyone who can get to the Centre, and because they are a drop-in centre you do not need a referral or an appointment. All therapies are free and there is no limit to the number of times you can come to the Centre or the number of therapies you can have. No charge is made for services, so the centre relies on donations to keep running.
Opening times: Mondays, Tuesdays and Wednesdays 10.30 to 4.00pm (last appointments start at 3.30pm) and Thursday 3pm – 8pm.
As they do not have a fixed base, they have to use a mobile telephone. Outside of opening times, if they cannot answer straight away, leave a message and they will get back to you.
