Coping with Cancer in Leicestershire and Rutland
Profile:
Coping with Cancer has a team of therapists who are experienced in treating those affected by cancer and are able to offer an extensive range of complementary therapies, with the aim of helping patients feel better, give a sense of control over what is happening, reduce stress, tension, sleeplessness, anxiety and depression, and make them feel more relaxed. If a patient is being treated for cancer, complementary therapies may help to reduce some of the symptoms, such as pain, feeling sick, breathlessness, tiredness and poor appetite.
Notes:
Treatments usually take place at Helen Webb House, although they can sometimes arrange home visits. Complementary therapies are also available at their Time Out drop-in groups (see website for details).
