Beverley de Valois PhD LicAc is a practising acupuncturist with over 20 years’ experience. She is one of the foremost authorities in the West on using acupuncture to help people recover after cancer treatment. She offers acupuncture for cancer survivors who have completed “active” cancer treatments (surgery, chemotherapy or radiotherapy), to help manage the late and long-term consequences of cancer treatment, no matter how long ago treatment ended.

Beverley holds the post of Researcher in Integrative Medicine in the Supportive Oncology Research Team (SORT) in the North and East Hertfordshire NHS Trust incorporating Mount Vernon Cancer Centre. For 25 years, she has been investigating how acupuncture can be used in the supportive care of people living with and beyond cancer. A member of the British Lymphology Society (BLS), she chaired the BLS Scientific Committee during 2017-2020.
Beverley lectures internationally and has many publications. She is the author of Acupuncture and Cancer Survivorship: Recovery, Renewal and Transformation.
