Die Filderklinik (The Filder Clinic) provides integrative treatment concepts based on anthroposophic medicine. As part of the integrative treatment concept, the team expand their professional know-how to include the holistic therapies of anthroposophical medicine. This strengthens the patient’s immune system and self-healing powers, improves the quality of life, treats symptoms of cancer and alleviates or avoids side effects of oncological therapy.
The clinic’s focus is on the treatment of breast cancer (at the Center for Integrative Breast Cancer Therapy) as well as cancers of the genital organs (ovarian cancer, cervical cancer, uterine cancer), and in the treatment of tumours of the abdomen, lungs and urological tumours (at the Center for Integrative Oncology).
Dr med Stefan Hiller is the Chief Physician and Medical Director at the Center for Integrative Oncology and Palliative Medicine.
Tailored to the individual situation, an oncological therapy plan is developed after the comprehensive diagnostics by an interdisciplinary team. Hemato-oncologists, surgeons, gastroenterologists, radiologists, radiation therapists, gynaecologists and therapists meet for the weekly tumour board of the Filderklinik, in which the disease of each individual patient is discussed and evaluated on the basis of the available examination results. The interdisciplinary team develops an individual treatment recommendation for each patient on the basis of the medical guidelines.
