HLP Therapy was created by Hannah Poulton who is the Clinical Director and is a Women’s Health Physiotherapist, Scar Specialist, Acupuncturist, Educator and PhD Student.

HLP Therapy physiotherapy and scar clinic is based in Leicester and managed by an all-women team who care deeply about the physical and emotional impact that surgery, accident, illness, scars and pain can have on women. Treatments are tailored specifically for each individual person alongside a care plan to aid recovery.

When treating breast cancer or mastectomy scars, a series of different therapies are used to help reduce both the tight feeling and appearance of scars, including:
– Manual scar massage
– Specialist scar equipment such as WINBACK Techar therapy, LymphaTouch device and laser therapy
– Silicone scar sheets
– Emotional support
