Integrated Health Clinic

Integrated Health Clinic is a Naturopathic Health and Cancer Care Centre which was founded in 2000 by husband and wife team Dr’s. Karen and Gurdev Parmar. Dr. Gurdev Parmar holds an Arizona Naturopathic Medical Licence, and is the first Canadian naturopathic doctor to qualify as a Fellow of the American Board of Naturopathic Oncology (FABNO).

The clinic supports 6 naturopathic doctors, a medical doctor and a chiropractor. There are 3 lab technicians, 2 IV nurses, 2 certified clon hydrotherapists, a massage therapist, 2 clinical counsellors, 4 patient care coordinators and a clinic manager.

Cancer Screening includes: Annual Physical Examinations – Pap tests, Breast exams, Prostate exams (DRE), Dermatology (skin) exam (dermatoscope included), Scoping for rectum/sigmoid; Laboratory Screening – Tumour markers, Predictive markers (hs-CRP, ferritin, homocysteine, etc.), Urinalysis (macro and microscopic), Serum chemistries, CBC, etc, Fecal Occult Blood test (specific to Colorectal Ca), Digital Infrared Thermal Imaging (DITI)

Cancer Treatments: The primary goals for patients undergoing conventional cancer treatment are: to support normal body function and metabolism during treatment; to decrease the side effects of treatments; to support and improve the immune system; to prescribe treatments and strategies aimed at cancer prevention and future health maintenance; ultimately to improve the quality of life and sense of wellness.


Therapies include IV vitamin therapy, chelation therapy, hyperbaric oxygen therapy, colon hydrotherapy, constitutional hydrotherapy, prolotherapy, mesotherapy, shiatsu massage therapy, acupuncture and counselling.
