Integrated Health Clinic (IHC) is a Naturopathic Health and Cancer Care Centre founded in 2000 by husband and wife team doctors Karen and Gurdev Parmar.
The IHC is a model for integrated healthcare delivery, emphasising preventative medicine and individualised care.
Recognised by contemporaries, Dr Gurdev Parmar was one of only 57 physicians from across Canada nominated for the prestigious Dr Roger’s Prize in 2007. He was recently nominated President of the International Clinical Hyperthermia Society (ICHS). Dr Karen Parmar was the recipient of Langley’s Women of the Year Award in 2008 for her outstanding contributions to the community. The IHC was nominated for Langley’s 2007 Business of the Year, and in 2015 was chosen as one of only 7 clinics in North America included in the Canadian and US Integrative Oncology Study (CUSIOS).
Within their cancer care center, the clinic offers guidance and treatment in dealing with a number of cancer diagnosis for which benefit can be derived from an integrative approach. They offer a broad spectrum of therapy options that will be personalised in a manner targeted to the patient’s specific needs and monitored for effectiveness.
