MyAccess Clinics is UK medical cannabis clinic offering virtual appointments for patients anywhere in the UK, suffering from long term conditions including chronic pain, migraine, cancer-related pain, anxiety, PTSD, depression, sleep conditions and neuro-developmental disorders.
Cancer pain has many different causes and there are many different types. Most types of cancer-related pain can be classified as nociceptive pain (tissue injury) or neuropathic pain (damage to the nerves). Cancer pain may be caused by the cancer itself or due to your cancer treatment. The service is available to patients who have tried at least two previous treatments which have not managed to meet their clinical needs.
MyAccess Clinics is part of the Project Twenty21 (T21) and support Drug Science in data collection by providing treatment of the highest standard. This allows for the creation of the UK’s largest body of evidence for the effectiveness and tolerability of the treatment, which will aid future provision of care within medical cannabis.
T21 allows patients to access certain qualifying medical cannabis products at a discounted price while collecting data to build up the real world evidence on the effects of Cannabis-Based Medicinal Products (CBMPs). Drug Science will use the data from T21 to provide evidence for NHS funding of medical cannabis treatment. Click here for more information about T21.
You can self-refer to MyAccess Clinics by booking an appointment online.
UK appointments are virtual appointments nationwide. Channel Islands appointments are face-to-face only with Dr David Bailey, MB BCh MRCGP.
