Jamie Nicol
Profile:

Jamie Nicol is a qualified and experienced counsellor offering a confidential and professional service to individuals, couples and families. His work with people can be either short or long-term depending on what best suits a person’s individual need.

He considers that the overall aim of counselling is to provide people with space to talk and reflect on issues in their life that feel important, and also ones that are possibly causing distress. His experience of enabling and supporting people through growth or recovery has developed by working for many years within the NHS, voluntary sector and privately.

Notes:

Jamie Nicol is one of a group of individual cancer counsellors and psychotherapists in the UK who have been specially selected by Yes to Life on the basis of their suitability. All of this group are fully qualified and insured and have a minimum of 2 years experience of working with and supporting cancer patients and their relatives. When choosing a therapist, apart from confidence in their experience, it is always important to check that you feel comfortable with them. For this reason, it is a good idea to have an initial session before making your decision.
