Profile:

Julie Robinson has prior training and experience working as a general and mental health nurse. She offers individual or group yoga sessions and works with a wide variety of clients with different cancers and groups in association with a cancer wellbeing centre.

Julie has a special interest in working with people living with cancer and use individually modified yoga and evidence based yoga therapy in her work, including breathwork, mindfulness, relaxation and yoga nidra as appropriate to support ease in both the physical and emotional body during the journey through treatment and recovery. Practices may be gentle and restorative or more strengthening with a modified vinyasa (movement with breath) element, as appropriate.

Julie works with the Aurora Wellbeing Centre team both with individual clients with cancer, the Rest and Restore group and have contributed to their Prostate Cancer and post-breast cancer programmes.
