Curaleaf Clinic, formerly Sapphire Clinics, was the first UK medical cannabis clinic registered by the CQC. Only doctors on the specialist register of the GMC are authorised to prescribe cannabis medications and satisfy the guidelines issued by GMC, NHS England and MHRA. Medical cannabis can only be considered by one of their specialist doctors if you have a formally diagnosed condition and have failed to find relief after a reasonable trial of recommended first line treatments.

In 2019 Curaleaf launched the UK’s first Medical Cannabis Registry via Real-World Evidence data platform. The scheme allows patients to:
