Profile:

Alex Stevenson BSc(Hons), PGDip NT, mBANT, HAES®, is a registered Nutritional Therapist and Consultant who also has a background in ecology and horticulture, meaning she can combine the health of people with the earth. She has a Postgrad Diploma in Nutritional Therapy from the University of Worcester and is registered with both BANT and CNHC. Having grown up on a smallholding, she still produces her own nutritious and sustainable food. Her approach is functional nutrition, finding the root causes of symptoms and ill health and how the systems of the body work together to create health. She practices and recommends mindful eating techniques, helping her patients reconnect with their body’s innate wisdom and our ability to eat intuitively.

She regularly attends lectures, courses, conferences and workshops to improve her knowledge base and keep up with current developments in research in nutrition, mindful eating, intuitive eating and eating psychology.

Notes:

One-to-one consultations are available via Skype, or in person at: The Wheel of Life Centre (http://www.wheeloflifecentre.co.uk/). Fees: Initial assessment (60 minutes): £60, Consecutive sessions (50 minutes): £50.
