Swansea and Gower Cancer Self Help Group

The Swansea and Gower Cancer Self Help Group exists to provide support to cancer sufferers, their family and carers. The group manages a Charity Shop in Eversley Road, Sketty and also holds open days on the second and last Saturday of each month in Norton Lodge, Mumbles. They welcome adults who have or had cancer to their friendly group for support, and meet new friends who have experienced what you are going through. They have a team of qualified voluntary therapists at each session on hand to improve your well-being and also offer information on self help and complementary therapies.

Therapies offered on self-help days include meditation, visualisation, massage, aromatherapy, reflexology, counselling, and reiki.  A healthy lunch is also available for a small donation.

The open days start at 10:30 and end at approximately 16:00. People can drop in at any point for a short period, or spend the entire day with the group.
