Dr Sarah Partridge is a clinical oncologist based at Imperial Healthcare NHS Trust, where she integrates clinical hypnotherapy into her practice delivering chemotherapy and radiotherapy for head, neck and thyroid cancer. She is collaborating with a number of clinical colleagues to explore using clinical hypnotherapy beyond oncology settings. She is currently on the Council for Hypnosis and Psychosomatic Medicine at the Royal Society of Medicine, promoting wider recognition and education regarding hypnosis.
Dr Rumi Peynovska is also a medical doctor with a postgraduate degree in Clinical Neuroscience at The Institute of Psychiatry, Faculty of Medicine UK. She is the past President of the Section of Hypnosis and Psychosomatic Medicine at the Royal Society of Medicine London and the past Editor-in-Chief of the European Journal of Clinical Hypnosis. Together they have used clinical hypnotherapy for cancer patients over the past 10 years, and created the Tranceform-Medical platform based on current scientific and medical research and their own professional experience in clinical medicine, neuroscience, mind and body medicine, psychotherapy and psychology. The extensive hypnotherapy literature shows that with regular practice, listening to the audiotherapy programmes you can change yourselves psychologically, emotionally and physiologically for the better.
Audiotherapy works by engaging with your imagination, and allows you to recognise and change your thoughts and internal signals in a beneficial way, empowering you to overcome challenges. Audiotherapy is a type of therapeutic suggestion used in clinical hypnosis, and many other types of psychological therapy.
A selection of recordings are free to download. Hypnosis Programmes for Cancer Treatment recordings are £9.99 each.
