Upon receiving her own breast cancer diagnosis, Elizabeth Harris founded White House Cancer Support charity in the early 1980s after realising there was very little support available to those affected by a cancer diagnosis.
White House Cancer Support provides practical help, emotional support and information to people with cancer, their families, friends and carers in the borough of Dudley and surrounding areas. Their complementary therapies can help patients and carers to cope with the stress and anxiety that cancer often brings. Their emotional support service is provided by qualified counsellors who give one-to-one support.
Therapy sessions are available throughout the week and the first 6 therapies are free of charge. Additional therapies are available at a charge of £10 per treatment, with money raised being spent on necessary therapy equipment and associated items.
