Zentrum der Erweiterten Medizin (Center for Advanced Medicine) in Frankfurt Germany combines conventional medicine and complementary medicine. The center specialises in an integrative medical approach for biological cancer therapies, alternative cancer treatments and therapy for chronic diseases such as borreliosis (Lyme disease), arthrosis and other rheumatoid diseases, allergies and food intolerances.
Among the main objectives of alternative cancer therapies are to activate the body’s own forces so that a tumour can be attacked more effectively, and to alleviate the sometimes massive side effects and after effects of the classic therapies. In the complementary-oncological Center, the team have successfully used holistic therapy for tumour patients, to strengthen or restore the patients’ immune system, to increase chances of recovery as additive (concomitant) therapy for conventional medicine (surgery, chemotherapy, radiation therapy), to prevent relapses and metastases, to mitigate side effects of conventional therapies and to improve quality of life.
