Starving Mum's Cancer
Date: 8 Jun 2021
We will start with sharing the wonderful documentary, ‘Should We Starve Terminal Cancer’ that charts their journey – a film made by Georgia Stewardson who has worked for ITV, Channel 4 and been BBC Radio 4’s Student Broadcaster of the Year in 2019. The documentary investigates all aspects of starving cancer, and speaks to those who swear by it and totally refute it. Georgia and Yvonne will then share more of their story and respond to questions from Forum participants.

Georgia writes: “Using cheap, existing drugs – typically used for diabetes or as anti-malarials – alongside a plant-based diet and supplements, we believe mum is living a healthier life with her cancer than she was before her diagnosis”.

This event follows our Forum on 24th May where we will have Jane McLelland, author of the ground breaking book looking at off label drugs for cancer and winner of the Lifetime Achievement Award 2019 ‘Amazing Women Global’ for unsung heroines. Jane herself had two aggressive cancers with metastatic spread, both were classed as ‘terminal’.

Philip Booth, a Wigwam Coordinator, who has been doing Jane McLelland online course, commented: “This is the best introductory film I’ve come across looking at how you can put together a cancer-starving formula, using natural therapies, exercise and diet. It is a wonderful opportunity to learn more about this approach. Do sign up and join us on 8th June.”
