Wigwam is a cancer support group with a difference. It is a community of people living with cancer coming together to explore and share information and experiences with the aim of empowering themselves to gain control over their lives. Wigwam is a place for people to meet locally or online. Wigwam is a place of safety and care, which is flexible and supportive, to meet others sharing similar issues and to learn about Integrative Medicine.
If you are looking to join, we currently have several Wigwam groups set up, and there are many activities online – find out more via the link below.
A highlight is the Online Forum which happens on Wednesdays twice a month. In these, an expert speaker is invited to give a talk on Zoom which is then followed by a live question and answer session. Please click the link the below to hear the most recent Forum. This will be available here for 2 weeks and following this can be accessed by registering on the Wigwam Website.
If you are interested in setting up a Wigwam locally or online, then we would love to hear from you. We can arrange a call, SKYPE, Zoom or, if circumstances allow, we can meet up to have a chat over a cuppa. You can also have a chat with any of our volunteers who are running Wigwams. We are here to help.
