Active Against Cancer is a Harrogate & District NHS Foundation Trust service. Active Against Cancer is a health and wellbeing service for people living with cancer with exercise at its core. The exercise classes are delivered in a safe environment by specialist trainers. The center provides bespoke, individualised activity programmes, free to all cancer patients, no matter their diagnosis or current fitness level.
All activity programmes start with a one-on-one assessment. Following your assessment, the team of trainers will invite you along to the classes that most suit your current needs. At home programmes are also available when needed.
Active Against Cancer deliveres classes at Knaresborough Community Centre in addition to the classes run from the main site at Harrogate Sports and Fitness Centre.
