Jayne Doyle
Profile:

Jayne is the founder of The Quiet Way – a unique therapeutic approach to bodywork in the field of trauma care. After a career in sports and leisure management, her focus shifted when she was 21 and took some time out to travel around Asia, Australia and New Zealand for 2 years, with subsequent journeys to Egypt, back to Australia and Thailand. After these trips she retained in the healing arts.

Following qualification in Reflexology in 1997, she went on to study a BSc in Health Sciences and Complementary Therapies at the University of Westminster, London, UK (2000). Postgraduate training followed in a range of massage and energy therapy modalities and she worked in general practice, seeing hundreds of clients.

In 2010 an opportunity arose to work with civil survivors of war, through a charity, in Sarajevo, Bosnia. Between 2010 and 2013 treated civilian survivors of the Balkan War, seeing clients who come from the Association of Concentration Camp Victims, the Association of Civil War Victims, Mothers of Srebrenica, Concentration Camp Union and the Centre for Torture Victims. She offered aromatherapy, massage, reflexology and healing therapies.

Postgraduate training continued in 2013 at The Christie NHS Trust in Manchester where she was awarded a Distinction in the Diploma in Adapting Complementary Therapies in Cancer and Supportive Care. Then followed two prestigious, rare and paid positions with the NHS in London between 2013 and 2015 as a Cancer and Palliative Complementary Therapist at Guy’s and St Thomas’ NHS Trust. Moving to the position of Service Manager/Senior Therapist at the Macmillan Cancer Centre, UCLH NHS Trust, offering therapies and support to oncology and haematology outpatients, inpatients, chemotherapy suite patients and included adults, teenagers, paediatrics and their families, offering aromatherapy, massage, reflexology and healing.

Expanding her trauma and cancer care speciality further and wanting to bring in yoga and meditation practices, in 2016 gained a teaching certificate in Mindful Yin Yoga, from the Mindful Yoga Academy, Spain. This has seen an expansion in her practice, with a number of classes and courses being offered alongside clinic practice and collaborations, that offer a therapeutic witnessing presence, a space for people to unbind that which has bound, to develop capacity and restore agency, fortitude, resilience and restoring goodness, equinity, faith, hope and joy.

Her latest study is in the field of Quantum Botanicals, taking her on a journey through more than 100 years of scientific discovery that has experimentally and clinically proven that consciousness precedes matter, that thoughts and emotions initiate molecular/biological function and that the fundamental nature of matter is vibrational. There is an in-depth exploration
