Grove House Hospice
Profile:
Every week Grove House offers over 150 treatments and consultations to patients, their families and carers at Grove House or at home. All services are free of charge. Each patients care is tailored to his/her own needs, for example pain reduction/symptom control from the specialist nurses, help with mobility from the physiotherapist or occupational therapist, or spiritual or emotional support and counselling from the spiritual care and family support team. Complementary Therapies available at Grove House are Aromatherapy, Indian Head Massage, Massage, Reflexology, Reiki and Yoga. The service is available from Monday to Friday, via the Outpatient Service, the Day Hospice or at Home. Patients receive six sessions of complementary therapy and carers receive four sessions.
