Hunts Community Cancer Network supports adults in Huntingdonshire living with or beyond cancer, offering support groups, movement classes, trusted information and opportunities to connect with others who understand.
Their core approach focuses on “Move, Mood and Food” with activities that are designed to support physical, mental and emotional wellbeing.
HCCN started in 2012 as part of an NHS pilot programme, testing a new way of providing personalised, home-based cancer support. The results made it clear that this approach made a real difference in people’s lives. When the pilot ended, the team behind continued as a registered charity.
