Dr Thomas Nesselhut studied biology in Göttingen and was granted a diploma in biochemistry, microbiology and chemistry. He received his doctorate in biochemistry and studied medicine in Göttingen. He was scholar at the Max-Planck-Institut for experimental medicine in Göttingen and at the Nuffield Laboratory of Ophthalmology in Oxford, England. He became the head of the laboratory for tumour biology at the department for women’s health in Göttingen, manufacturing of autologous tumor vaccines for active specific immunotherapy.
In 1993, he founded the practice Neßelhut with a focus on oncology in Duderstadt, treatment of patients with immunotherapy.
