North of England Medical Hyperbaric Services Ltd is a hospital-based unit, members of the British Hyperbaric Association (BHA), European Undersea Barometric Society (EUBS) and European Hyperbaric Medicine Society (EHMS).

The multi-place hyperbaric chamber can seat up to 7 patients. All staff have a critical care background and also there are several consultant specialists on the team.

NEMS has led and been involved in research collaborations with local hospitals, Royal Marsden Hospital and Hull University.
