Suzanne Walsh
Profile:

Suzanne Walsh is a qualified and experienced counsellor/psychotherapist. She has extensive experience working with people affected by cancer, either themselves or relatives, gained through working in day care hospices and Mount Vernon Cancer Centre.

Suzanne can offer you the opportunity to engage in a dialogue, that is different from talking with a loved one or friend, where you are free to talk about your anxieties, exploring options around treatments or end of life care and how loved ones will be affected so that you are able to make sense of what is happening.

It is of paramount importance that this relationship offers a safe, non-judgmental and confidential environment so you will feel able to take a proactive role as early as possible. By feeling in control of your situation, it will be easier to make informed decisions and find the way forward that is right for you.

All sessions are conducted online.

Qualifications: MBACP (Accred) UKRCP Reg. Ind Psychotherapist Dip. Theory and Practice of Counselling: Diploma in Individual and Group Supervision: Diploma in Casework Supervision: Post Graduate Diploma in Person Centred Couples Counselling.

Notes:

Suzanne Walsh is one of a group of individual cancer counsellors and psychotherapists in the UK who have been specially selected by Yes to Life on the basis of their suitability. All of this group are fully qualified and insured and have a minimum of 2 years experience of working with and supporting cancer patients and their relatives. When choosing a therapist, apart from confidence in their experience, it is always important to check that you feel comfortable with them. For this reason, it is a good idea to have an initial session before making your decision.
