Halton Cancer Support Group
Profile:

Halton Cancer Support Group (formerly Widnes & Runcorn Cancer Support Group) is a local charity, whose aim is to help and support the local community of Halton. Anyone who has been affected by cancer or by the suffering of a friend or relative is welcome at the Centre. They offer advice and information, including social and welfare advice, together with counselling and a wide range of complementary therapies. These are mostly available free of charge by prior appointment.

In 1997, Widnes Hospice merged with The Widnes Cancer Fund Association and Widnes and Runcorn Cancer Support Group was born. In 2023, the charity updated its name to Halton Cancer Support to better reflect the area it serves.
