As someone who has had cancer, Dr Amy Walker continues to investigate new avenues of support for herself and her clients.
After many years working in the NHS, Dr Amy Walker’s personal experience of cancer was to prompt her to retrain in Functional and Integrative Medicine and to go on to support other women diagnosed with breast cancer using those skills. While her experience of receiving a diagnosis of cancer and of going through cancer has provided her with a sound experiential basis from which to provide appropriate care, Dr Walker continues to explore avenues of support for herself and to thereby broaden the scope of the advice she can offer to others.
