Tim Henley is heading up a new initiative to make approved cannabis medicines more readily available in the UK.

Despite the change in the law regarding cannabis as a medicine, our NHS is not prescribing what have been shown to be very helpful medications for a range of symptoms and side effects experienced by a vast number of people going through treatment for cancer. A parallel situation in Australia has prompted the establishment of a low cost service to improve patient access, and this initiative is now coming to the UK, alongside a research programme to further improve the evidence base.
