Dr Rani Bora has been on a journey to find meaningful ways to help people facing a mental crisis.
After many years in mainstream psychiatry, Dr Bora concluded that there must be better ways to support people than simply suppressing their symptoms with drugs. While still acknowledging a place for pharmaceutical interventions, through her explorations into her own being, she has concluded that a truly holistic approach is required in order to provide genuine help and the prospect of a resolution to her clients’ difficulties. Her approach is founded on her realisation that each of us is already whole, already at peace, and that to provide meaningful help is to reconnect her clients to their true self.
