Cancer Support Scotland (formerly known as Tak Tent) provides emotional and practical support on a one-to-one basis and through community based groups, to anyone affected by cancer including family, friends and carers. They offer a warm, friendly, peaceful environment where anyone affected by cancer go to relax, or to have one of an extensive range of complementary therapies. All their therapists and counsellors are experienced in working with people who are affected by cancer and their therapies are free of charge. They also work in partnership with Macmillan Cancer Support and Glasgow Life at their sites in Renfrew, Easterhouse, Dennistoun, Mitchell Library, Glasgow and Elderpark Library, Govan where they provide Talking Therapies and Complementary Therapies. They also have many Support Groups throughout Scotland; please ask them for details.
