Move Dance Feel is a registered Community Interest Company founded by Emily Jenkins, who was selected as a National Lottery Award Winner in the category of Art, Culture and Film. Move Dance Feel unites women affected by cancer through dance.
Emily Jenkins has worked in participatory dance and is specialised in the area of Dance and Health, interested in the relationship between creativity and wellbeing. She works with a range of dance, arts and health organisations, including Trinity Laban Conservatoire of Music and Dance and English National Ballet. She’s also a member of the International Association of Dance Medicine and Science and has an active role on their Dance for Health committee.
Move Dance Feel is a creative community for women affected by cancer. Move Dance Feel unites women affected by cancer through dance. Guided by professionals, the activities help you to re-discover yourself, open up to new possibilities, and find a renewed sense of joy in the body.
Move Dance Feel offers weekly dance sessions via Zoom on Monday evenings and Friday mornings.
Monthly dance workshops are available in partnership with Yes to Life as part of the Wellbeing Programme.
Weekend Retreats are available via Penny Brohn Centre.
