Come Dine with Yes to Life

As we are all only too aware, Covid-19 has left most charities with a bit of a hole in terms of income. Our Exec Director Miquel came up trumps with an idea to hold an online Christmas fundraiser and our patrons and friends harnessed their energy to help us deliver an amazing evening of entertainment.

So on 10 December, ‘Come Dine with Yes to Life’ kicked off with hosts and patrons, Jerome Flynn (Game of Thrones, Ripper) and Linus Roache (Homeland, Vikings) setting the scene for the evening.

We were treated to a spectacular (and dare I say gobsmacking) treat with Gerard Senehi, ‘The Experimentalist’, who on Zoom no less, astonished us all with magic by guessing things about various guests who had joined us for the evening.  This was up close and personal stuff and left us all with a ‘WOW’ how did he do that?

We all took place in a quiz which ran throughout the evening interspersed with music and singing from the super talented Johnny Flynn (The Dig, Emma, Stardust).  With raffles, silent auctions and lots of prize categories, the evening raised much needed funds for the charity.
